A place to think, write and see

I’ve always been someone who relishes solitude, the kind of person who appears ‘lost’ even in spaces where my attention is most demanded. A consequence of this is what I believe to be a prolific inner world—an endless churn of thoughts and ideas with nowhere to go. Writing has always been my way of making sense of it, the one place where the nonsensical takes shape, where I can at least formulate questions with certainty, even if neat answers never arrive.

This Substack is an attempt to document a self in flux—partly for me, to someday look back with pride that I dared to partake in this act of self-reckoning, or maybe just to laugh at my own naïveté. Whatever it brings, I know this space will serve as proof of my sincere attempts to know myself and the world more deeply.

I think of my twenties as years of relentless information-gathering, of absorbing ideas without yet knowing how to apply them. Here, I’ll be writing about self-inquiry, personal growth, body and identity, love and detachment, creativity, and meaning. This is a space for those who, like me, are happily enslaved to their curiosity.
